Today I got a letter in the mail from the city government saying that I owe them $26 in property tax on my car.  The assessed value of my car is $800, which I find funny.  This is less money than I have spent on car repairs in the past 6 months.  I will not argue, though, because less value equals less taxes.  Also, my car is getting fixed this weekend and it was less extreme than we originally thought.  But seriously.  Taxes?
